I have dabbled in web design since 1998 when I attempted my first website on a Macintosh Performa 6400 computer using GoLive. I even went so far as to acquire a second Macintosh to host my websites, as well as, run email and DNS servers. I was still heavily involved in the banking world at that point and it was a hobby, but it exposed me to the process and gave me some valuable experience and it helped me reach the goal I had of doing something creative using a Mac.

I resumed web design work in 2008 when my friend, Thom Wedge, asked me to help design a new website for LoveWorks Ministries. It was a great way to get back into design and I received a lot of fulfillment from working on the site. Thom later found a program from Softpress called Freeway. Freeway has really made designing sites a pleasure, as well as, creating an efficient way to bring sites online quickly. We attended some training sessions at Softpress' headquarters in Oxford, UK and over the last couple of years I have learned to make Freeway do a lot of different things. I also use Adobe Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver in my design work, as well as, WordPress or other CMS engines as separate sites or as integrated components of Freeway sites. For hardware, I primary work on a 17" Apple MacBook Pro.
